Dr Stefan Peart, Clinical Psychologist, BSc, MSc, DClinPsy

I am a Clinical Psychologist. I have a Master of Science (MSc Honours) Degree in Applied Psychology, a Bachelor of Science (BSc Honours) Degree in Forensic Psychology and a Practitioner Doctor of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy). I am registered to practise as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council.

I have experience in the psychological assessment of children, young people and adults for the purposes of understanding their developmental and psychological wellbeing and their mental health and general functioning.

I have worked with developmental disorders and a broad range of mental health difficulties across multidisciplinary settings in both adult and child settings. Variety in my experience has afforded me an eclectic understanding of mental health problems and their development across the lifespan.

I have been employed as a Clinical Psychologist and a Specialist Clinical Practitioner within the NHS and for the Local Authority within London, Essex and Kent localities. I provide specialist psychological assessments and psychotherapeutic support to complex and culturally diverse client groups with a range of presentations. I have practised in community, residential and inpatient settings, working with acute, ingrained and severe mental health difficulties, such as psychosis, schizophrenia and with individuals who attract a diagnosis of personality disorder, in addition to trauma, depression and anxiety disorders, identity difficulties, abuse, neglect, self-harm, attachment and neurodevelopmental conditions.

Alongside and prior to my private practice, I have worked within several low and medium secure settings, the prison service, as well as National Health Service Trusts
